About Care Community Education Centre (CCEDUC)

Background of CCEDUC

Care Community Education Centre (CCEDUC) is an Indigenous Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) registered in Uganda. It holds official registration with the National NGO Bureau under the Ministry of Internal Affairs (Registration No. INDR102225633NB) and with the Directorate of District Local Government (Registration No. YTC/000310). CCEDUC operates in Yumbe District and the wider West Nile sub-region, serving rural and marginalized communities.

Established in 2013, CCEDUC was founded to address severe socio-economic challenges such as widespread poverty, poor health and nutrition, child neglect, and the long-lasting effects of the UNRF II Civil War, which left many widows and orphans vulnerable. CCEDUC delivers practical and sustainable interventions to uplift communities and improve their quality of life.

03

To strengthen household livelihoods through VSLAs, entrepreneurship training, and economic empowerment in both refugee and host communities.

04

To promote environmental conservation through tree planting and energy-saving stoves.
